UN Peacekeepers (Yom Kippur)The Arab / Israeli war ended at Km 101 on the Cairo to Suez road. With great haste the UN went into action. This meant that UKMAMS positioned 2 teams, Charlie and Kilo, in quick succession at Cairo to offload scores of peacekeeping troops and their equipment. |
